Nida-Core Corp. introduces a proprietary(patent pending) engineered tack adhesive for infusion and RTM applications, where superior tack, 100% cross linking with polyester and vinylester resin systems and superior surface finish is required. NidaTack is the only system that can be applied directly to the mold surface or behind the gelcoat without risk of print through*( check with your technical representative for proper procedure). Sold in quart, gallon and 5 gallon containers, it will substantially reduce waste. NidaTack has more solid content and less solvents , than any of the competing materials on the market. Vanishing blue dye helps with proper amount being applied to the fabric surface by means of visual reference.

NidaFusion SXO/SXF 3-Dimensional Isotropic closed molding cores are a new generation of cores specifically designed for sandwich construction applications where isotropic properties are highly desirable, like windmill blades. Comprised of a 3 walled pyramid shaped truss network inside a closed cell foam, this new core addresses shortcomings of extruded (directional strength patterns) structural foams. Available in 48X48 inch(1.2mX1.2m) sheets, with PU, PE or Phenolic closed cell foam options, variety of surface fabrics and resin flow channels.

Nida-Core Corp.is pleased to introduce structural welded and non-welded quality PET foam core in plain and scored sheetstock. NidaFoam exhibits excellent fatigue and chemical resistance and is noted for its excellent
burn characteristics and superior high temperature tolerance. Thermoformability: NidaFoam sheets can be thermoformed. The white color of the NidaFoam is easy to recognize and distinguish from other available foams. The white color transfers less to the composite part surface, resulting in less gelcoat usage.Chemical resistance and corrosive gases: Good resistance against weak bases, weak acids as well as against most current solvents : alcohol – acetone – perchlorethylene. Limited resistance–check in each case – against strong mineral acids. NidaFoam does not emit any corrosive gases, even when burned, unlike PVC foams. NidaFoam does not emit gases that contain halogen such as hydrochloric acid. Water and resin absorption: excellent closed cell ratio, comparable to PVC, PU and SAN foams. Certifications: NidaFoam has been awarded FST M1 spec burn certificate. Other industry specific certifications are pending and available upon request. Independent laboratory structural testing results available. Scrimming and scoring, including grid pattern for infusion laminar resin transfer is available with NidaFoam.
